UCSF Enterprise Directory Service (EDS)

If you are on a UCSF or SF DPH network, look at the full wiki site for current information on EDS.

EDS is a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) accessible directory that contains authoritative information about individuals affiliated with UCSF, such as name, phone number, email address, employee ID, etc. It provides this information to many systems around UCSF.

The Enterprise Directory Server contains affiliation data for each individual in the directory.

Each status has an associated code, which usually means active (A) or inactive (I).

"A" means the person has a future expiration date for that affiliation type.

"I" means the person has an expiration date for that type which is in the past.

Only specific affiliation types and states are eligible for a MyAccess account.  That information is also reflected in this page.
