UCSF Wireless Network Configuration for Windows XP

If you have not already downloaded and installed the Windows XP SP2 Wireless Hotfix, please do so now then follow the steps below to configure your laptop to connect to the UCSF wireless network.

1. Right-click on the wireless-computer icon on the right hand corner of the task bar and click View Available Wireless Networks.
   
   
   
   
2. Click on the UCSF wireless network under Choose a wireless network list.
   
   
   
   
3. Then click on the Connect button.
   
   
   
   
4. Wait for a few seconds to allow the computer's wireless network card to scan and connect to the UCSF wireless network. A message on the right hand bottom corner of the screen should let you know when your wireless connection is ready.
