UCSF Wireless Network Configuration for Mac OS X

Follow the steps below to configure your laptop to connect to the UCSF wireless network.

  1. Click on the AirPort icon and select Turn AirPort On.




  2. Once AirPort has been activated, the icon will appear differently. Click the active AirPort icon and select Other.




  3. In the Closed Network dialog, type in UCSF for "Network Name." Then select None for "Wireless Security." Click the OK button. After a few seconds, your wireless network connection is ready.
