Configuration Information: Supported Client Types

MAPI Clients (Outlook)

Add sfgh.ucsf.edu to your MAPI server settings. All MAPI connections outside the UCSF campus subnets must be conducted through a VPN session.

IMAP Clients (Entourage , Mac Mail, Eudora)

Add sfgh.ucsf.edu to your IMAP settings and sfgh.ucsf.edu to your Outbound SMTP settings. SSL and basic authentication is required for both connections.

POP 3 (Outlook Express, Eudora)

Add sfgh.ucsf.edu to your Inbound POP settings and sfgh.ucsf.edu to your Outbound SMTP settings. SSL and basic authentication is required for both connections.
