PubMed Insights plus Online Journals
This update session at the Barnett Briggs Medical library will provide a fresh look at the world’s most important biomedical database. Whether you are a new or veteran researcher, you will learn tips and tricks to make your PubMed search more efficient and rewarding. This session will also cover how to get the full text of the articles you want whether you are on the UCSF or SFGH computer network. Category 1 CME credit is available for this class. Getting Started with EndNote
This hands-on class covers everything you need to get started using EndNote: creating an account, adding references to a RefWorks library, inserting citations into a Word document, and formatting a bibliography in your chosen journal style.
Information Resources for Nurses
Learn about the new EBSCO nursing resources available to SFGH’s DPH and UCSF staff. Class will cover CINAHL Plus with Full Text, Nursing Reference Center, SFGH’s new evidence-based practice wiki , and registering for and using Loansome Doc.
